ธนาคารกสิกรไทยเดินหน้ายุทธศาสตร์ด้านสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล เปิดตัว ออร์บิกซ์ อินเวสท์ (orbix INVEST) ผู้จัดการเงินทุนสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล (Digital Asset Fund Manager) ประกอบธุรกิจรับจัดการเงินลงทุนสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล ซึ่งบริษัทได้รับใบอนุญาตประกอบธุรกิจผู้จัดการเงินทุนสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลจากกระทรวงการคลัง ภายใต้การกำกับดูแลของคณะกรรมการกำกับหลักทรัพย์และตลาดหลักทรัพย์ (สำนักงาน ก.ล.ต.) และมีการเตรียมความพร้อมในการบริการให้เป็นไปตามมาตรฐานตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด ชูจุดเด่นด้านความเชี่ยวชาญ ตอกย้ำความเป็นผู้นำนวัตกรรมทางการเงิน เติมเต็มระบบนิเวศด้านสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลของกลุ่มธุรกิจทางการเงินของธนาคาร และรองรับการเติบโตของตลาดสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล
นายพิพิธ เอนกนิธิ ผู้จัดการใหญ่ ธนาคารกสิกรไทย เปิดเผยว่า ธนาคารกสิกรไทย มุ่งสร้างรากฐานระบบนิเวศด้านสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลที่แข็งแกร่ง ผ่านโครงสร้างการบริหารจัดการ โดยดำเนินการภายใต้ บริษัท ยูนิต้า แคปิทัล จำกัด (Unita Capital) ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทลูกในกลุ่มธุรกิจทางการเงินธนาคารกสิกรไทยที่มีเป้าหมายในการดูแลบริการให้ครอบคลุมระบบนิเวศด้านสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล (Digital Asset Ecosystem) มากขึ้น ล่าสุดเปิดตัว ออร์บิกซ์ อินเวสท์ (orbix INVEST) ผู้จัดการเงินทุนสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล (Digital Asset Fund Manager) เป็นทางเลือกใหม่ในการลงทุนสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลสำหรับนักลงทุน โดยก่อนหน้านี้ กลุ่มธุรกิจทางการเงินของธนาคารฯ ภายใต้ Unita Capital มีการเปิดให้บริการ ได้แก่
  • ออร์บิกซ์ (orbix) ศูนย์ซื้อขายสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจจากนักลงทุนที่หลากหลาย หลังจากการเข้าซื้อกิจการมาเป็นบริษัทในกลุ่มธุรกิจทางการเงินของธนาคาร เมื่อปลายปีที่ผ่านมา
  • ออร์บิกซ์ เทคโนโลยี (orbix TECHNOLOGY)  ให้บริการโครงสร้างพื้นฐานเทคโนโลยีบล็อคเชนของประเทศ (Blockchain Infrastructure) เพื่อสนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการไทยและพันธมิตรในภาคเศรษฐกิจจริง (Real Sector) ให้สามารถสร้างนวัตกรรมด้านต่าง ๆ บนเทคโนโลยีบล็อคเชนได้จริง   ซึ่งได้เปิดให้บริการแล้ว
  • รวมถึงจัดตั้ง ออร์บิกซ์ คัสโทเดียน (orbix CUSTODIAN) เพื่อรองรับการประกอบธุรกิจผู้ให้บริการรับฝากสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัล ซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างการเตรียมเพื่อรับใบอนุญาตประกอบธุรกิจ
สำหรับ ออร์บิกซ์ อินเวสท์ (orbix INVEST) ได้รับใบอนุญาตประกอบธุรกิจผู้จัดการเงินทุนสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลจากกระทรวงการคลัง ภายใต้การกำกับดูแลของสำนักงานคณะกรรมการกำกับหลักทรัพย์และตลาดหลักทรัพย์ (สำนักงาน ก.ล.ต.) เมื่อเดือนมกราคม 2567 ที่ผ่านมา เป็นอีกหนึ่งจิ๊กซอว์ที่สำคัญในการขยายขอบเขตบริการเพื่อเติมเต็มระบบนิเวศด้านสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลของกลุ่มธุรกิจการเงินของธนาคารฯ  ซึ่ง orbix INVEST เข้ามาตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของนักลงทุน ด้วยการนำเสนอกลยุทธ์จัดการเงินทุนสินทรัพย์ดิจิทัลภายใต้การจัดการของบริษัท รวมถึงพัฒนาแอปพลิเคชันให้ใช้งานง่าย โดยมีแผนที่จะเปิดให้บริการอย่างเป็นทางการในเดือนกรกฎาคมนี้ พร้อมชูจุดเด่นด้านความเชี่ยวชาญ 2 ด้าน ได้แก่
1.ด้านการให้บริการ ด้วยการให้บริการที่มีความน่าเชือถือและปลอดภัย และมีผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ตอบโจทย์ความต้องการและสอดคล้องกับระดับความเสี่ยงที่ยอมรับได้ของนักลงทุน
2.ด้านการบริหารจัดการ ด้วยการเตรียมความพร้อมระบบงานที่ได้มาตรฐานตามเกณฑ์ที่ทางการกำหนด พร้อมทั้งบุคลากรที่มีประสบการณ์ช่วยเติมเต็มการให้บริการอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

The company has obtained a license to operate a digital asset fund management business from the Ministry of Finance under the supervision of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Additionally, orbix CUSTODIAN has been established to provide digital asset custody services. The company is now preparing to apply for a license to operate business as a digital asset custodian.
